Working nine to five, that’s no way to make a living (any more)
Working nine till five is no longer the way to make a living, a new study suggests.
More than a quarter of companies (26 per cent) now offer flexi-time options to all of their employees, according to research by Monster.co.uk.
Seven per cent of the firms surveyed, meanwhile, specifically offer this service to more senior workers.

Overall, 33 per cent of companies currently offer flexible working.
Some 46 per cent, meanwhile, have yet to do so.
Monster found, though, that 21 per cent of employees are not aware of what their firm’s policy is.
“The need for employers to have a flexible working scheme is more important now than it has ever been,” said Andy Sumner, managing director for Monster UK & Ireland.
