Amanda Nelson has been appointed as a partner in the law firm’s private client practice. She joins from Manches, where she was a partner in its private client and international wealth practice. Nelson specialises in tax planning, with a particular emphasis on inheritance and capital gains tax.
RBC Capital Markets
Frank Garibaldi has been appointed to the role of managing director and head of high yield capital markets in Europe at the investment banking arm of the Royal Bank of Canada. He will be based in London and most recently worked for Cantor Fitzgerald in New York. Garibaldi has over 20 years’ experience in high yield markets, and has also held senior roles at Credit Suisse and Lehman Brothers.
ETF Securities
The exchange-traded investment products provider has appointed Matt Johnson as head of distribution for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). He most recently worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he was co-head of derivative sales across EMEA. Johnson has over 20 years’ experience in institutional distribution, and has also held roles at Deutsche Bank, Morgan Stanley and JP Morgan Asset Management.
Greenpark Capital
The mid-market private equity secondaries business has announced the promotion of Daniel Green to the role of chief investment officer. He joined Greenpark in 2001, and has been responsible for leading its investment team. Green is also a member of the firm’s executive team and investment committee.
CMS Cameron McKenna
The legal services firm has appointed Nigel Dickinson as a partner in its financial services and product team. He joins from Allen & Overy. Dickinson specialises in derivative transactions, and has a particular focus on over-the-counter derivatives, structured products and structured finance.
