Webber slams newcomers as ‘Mickey Mouse’
RED BULL Racing’s Mark Webber has labelled the new teams entering F1 as “Mickey Mouse”, accusing them of making the sport look amateurish.
The Australian hit out after USF1 made a request to defer their 2010 entry by 12 months while the Campos Meta team are to change their name to Hispania Racing.
“It’s embarrassing,” Webber said. “It’s incredible that people who haven’t yet turned a wheel take part in grands prix. It’s the sort of stuff from Mickey Mouse or Tom and Jerry.”
