WANdisco announces another boardroom shakeup as it appoints new non-exec director and interim finance SVP
WANdisco's share price was up 7.4 per cent at the open after the company announced another boardroom shakeup this morning.
The software developer has appointed William Grant Dollens as non-executive director. Dollens, 37, is currently managing member at Global Frontier Investments, a US-based investment manager, and portfolio manager for Global Frontier Partners, a shareholder in WANdisco.
He has previously worked for Ayer Capital Management, BA Venture Partners and Deutsche Bank.
The appointments follow a recent shakeup at WANdisco, which saw chairman Paul Walker and non-exec director Ian Duncan leave the company in response to the news that David Richards has been reinstated as chief executive.
"As independent non-executive directors, we had not considered David the right person to lead the company going forwards," Walker and Duncan said in a joint statement last week.
The company also said Erik E. Miller has rejoined the company as interim senior vice president of finance.
WANdisco announced that it had hired Miller in September, though he quit last week in his first few days at the firm.
He replaces Paul Harrison, who announced plans to move to Just Eat in June.
