Virgin Atlantic creates 450 new jobs
Airline Virgin Atlantic will create 450 new jobs in an expansion of its fleet.
A route between Manchester and Las Vegas will be launched this Spring, creating 100 new jobs in Manchester.
An increase in London departures to the Caribbean and Ghana will also be launched.
A new fleet of Airbus A330 aircraft will mean 50 new pilot vacancies and 350 cabin crew roles, and the remaining roles will be at Virgin’s head office.
Corneel Koster, director of operations at Virgin Atlantic said: “We have enjoyed a good year of recovery and can now look forward to expanding our network.”
This news follows the company's announcement of 200 new roles back in November.
