Victoria Line part-suspended and Finsbury Park station closed after a woman was struck by a train
Finsbury Park station has reopened, and the Victoria Line is running with minor delays, after a passenger was injured earlier this morning.
The station was evacuated in the middle of the morning rush-hour today and the Victoria Line was suspended between Walthamstow and Kings Cross after a person was struck by a train
Fire engines and a police emergency response unit attended after the incident, on the southbound Victoria Line platform.
An official at the station told City A.M. a person was struck by a train. A spokesman for Transport for London (TfL) added that the incident was ongoing.
In a statement this morning, the British Transport Police said:
We were called at around 9.10am this morning to Finsbury Park underground station, after reports that a person had been struck by a train.
A woman is currently being treated at the scene by colleagues from London Ambulance Service.
