United to host Liverpool in heavyweight third round tie
MANCHESTER UNITED will host Liverpool in the glamour third round tie of this season’s FA Cup.
The Premier League leaders take on the seven-times winners in the only all Premier League tie of the round.
Meanwhile, United’s splinter club, FC United of Manchester, will face last season’s beaten finalists Portsmouth if they win their replay at home to Brighton.
Luton, Crawley, Droylsden and Dover are the other non-League teams still in the competition, and it is Luton who could land the most lucrative tie with a trip to Tottenham on offer if they win their replay against Charlton.
Dover will hope to knock out a third League team, after victories over Gillingham and Aldershot, when they travel to Huddersfield and Crawley will host Derby if they beat Swindon.
Droylsden, of the Blue Square Bet North, face League One Leyton Orient tonight with a trip to Norwich the prize for the winner.
Holders Chelsea entertain Ipswich, while Arsenal will host Leeds United.
