Tyson Fury vs Wladimir Klitschko purse: How much will the boxers earn from heavyweight bout in Dusseldorf?
Tyson Fury is in line for the biggest payday of his career when he finally goes toe-to-toe with world heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko tonight.
The 55,000 capacity Espirit Arena in Dusseldorf is close to selling out, while millions of fight fans are expected to fork out to watch the event on pay-per-view TV packages around the world.
Fury's official take will be dependent on final ticketing, merchandise and pay-per-view sales figures, but the top end of estimates envisage him adding between £3.5m and £5m to his bank account for the evening's work.

That would not only represent the biggest payday of his career, but would be the largest cheque made out to a British fighter since Carl Froch earned £8m for his knock-out of George Groves in front of a record crowd for a British boxing match at Wembley in May 2014.
Klitschko's stoic style and sleek suits may contrast markedly with the frenzied Fury's fur coats and superhero costumes, yet what the Ukrainian lacks in brashness he will make up in cold hard cash with his purse for the fight thought to be worth around three times his opponent's at £15m.
In total the entire fight is predicted to be worth around £30m, with the rest of the cash distributed amongst event organisers and promoters.
Fury could also add to his earnings with a win thanks to a straight £200,000 bet he made with a wealthy friend on the outcome of the fight.

Not bad work if you can get it, although Fury's earnings for the fight are dwarfed by what fellow Brit David Haye made for his meeting with the same opponent in 2011.
The "Hayemaker", who announced his coming out of retirement earlier this week, negotiated a 50-50 split of the purse thanks to his ownership of the WBA super heavyweight title at the time and pocketed around £15m.
Yet rarely have other successful British pugilists made so much from a single fight.
Lennox Lewis earned £11m for his famous bout with Mike Tyson in 2002 while Joe Calzaghe's biggest payday was the £5m he made from his curtain call fight with Roy Jones Jr. in 2008.
More recently, James DeGale earned £1m for a victorious world title fight in Boston against Andre Dirrell while Amir Khan, for all his headline bouts in Las Vegas, has never earned significantly more than that sum.
