Two hospitalised after being struck by “falling object” from Nine Elms development on Ponton Road
Two people have been left hospitalised after being struck by a falling object from a property development in Nine Elms.
"Multiple" emergency responders – including the air ambulance – were sent to the building site on Ponton Road, Battesea, just after 2pm today after receiving
The London Ambulance Service told City A.M: "We were called at 2:03pm to Nine Elms Lane to reports of a person hit by a falling object.
"We sent multiple resources to the scene, including two ambulance crews, a single responder in a car and an incident response officer, alongside our hazardous area response team and London's air ambulance.
"We treated two patients at the scene. A man with a head injury was taken as a priority to hospital escorted by the doctor from the air ambulance. A woman with a hip injury was also taken to hospital."
