Tube trouble: Severe delays hit commuters on three Tube lines
Three Tube lines are running severe delays this morning as commuters make their way to work.
The Central Line, Circle Line and Hammersmith & City Line have all been hit by severe delays, with Transport for London (TfL) telling passengers their tickets will be accepted via any other reasonable route on London buses and Greater Anglia services.
A signal failure at Notting Hill Gate caused the delays on the Central Line.
Meanwhile a signal failure at King's Cross is responsible for the other delays, with the Metropolitan Line also running with minor delays.
That comes after four lines were part suspended this morning, with signal failures hitting commuters on their routes to work.
No service was running between Baker Street and Hammersmith on either the Circle or Hammersmith & City lines, with TfL advising passengers that their tickets will be accepted on London buses instead.
The Metropolitan Line was also hit by the signal failure, with no service between Baker Street and Aldgate, while minor delays were running between Chalfont & Latimer and Amersham.
Meanwhile the District Line had no service between High Street Kensington and Edgware Road owing to a signal failure at the latter station.
