TfL Tube strike 2015: Citymapper’s advice for how to survive London travel chaos
Millions of London commuters are likely face travel woes today as – barring any miracles – a 24-hour Tube strike goes ahead, with trains coming to a grinding halt in the early evening.
How to get home? Although 200 extra buses will be on London’s roads, all transport will be far busier than usual as confused crowds try to get to their destination with the Tube unavailable.
Travel app Citymapper has published a handy update to guide frustrated commuters wondering how to make their way home without the Tube. Their “Get Me Somewhere” router will figure out how to get you around – using everything but the Tube.
The app has also added a “strike safe” section that you can use.
