The Jubilee Line is plagued with severe delays between Waterloo and Stratford after engineers had to deal with a faulty train on the track, hitting thousands of east London passengers.
Minor delays are affecting the rest of the line, with Transport for London (TfL) advising people their tickets are valid on local buses and the Docklands Light Railway.
Meanwhile there is no service between Gospel Oak and Upper Holloway on the London Overground.
Severe delays have impacted the line between Upper Holloway and Barking due to a faulty train.
A good service is running on the rest of the TfL network after the Northern Line was suspended early this morning, with no trains running southbound until 6.40am.
It follows a fire at Waterloo station last night that closed nine platforms after the blaze burnt cables outside the station stopping trains from reaching platforms 16 to 24.
Network Rail said equipment had suffered “significant damage”, leading to a widespread cancellation of rail services.
TfL was forced to admit it “hasn’t been a great week” for the Northern Line earlier this month after delays plagued commuters for several days running.
The Northern Line was suspended along the Bank branch on 9 July after huge delays the day before, both due to signalling failures.
Some of the disruption was so severe that TfL closed several stations to avoid overcrowding and urged Londoners to avoid the Northern Line if possible.
