Travel chaos on Central Line as signal failure causes severe delays between White City and Leytonstone
Central Line commuters were fuming this morning after the line was suspended in parts and suffered severe delays across much of the capital.
Passengers complained of being stuck on the Tube without moving for 20 minutes this morning after a signal failure at Queensway halted the service between White City and Leystonstone. There are also minor delays on the rest of the line.
They also complained about the poor lack of communication, and the fact some people were "made to leave the station" to find an alternative route in.

Severe delays are still ongoing and TfL has advised customers to seek alternative routes into work, saying tickets are being accepted on local buses, Abellio Greater Anglia and TfL Rail.
Customers were also reminded they could claim for compensation if the delays were excessively long.
