Transport for London (TfL) has updated its walking Tube maps to cover Zone 3 and National Rail stations
Transport for London's (TfL) walking maps have just become even handier.
The indispensable guides to walking times and steps between stations have been expanded and now encompass Zone 3 and National Rail stations. So they're the ideal tools for when a Tube strike is on the horizon and you need to scope out other options.

The maps have been updated to help those outside of central London to launch TfL's first walking conference today, after the mayor appointed his first walking and cycling commissioner Will Norman at the end of last year.
Leon Daniels, managing director, surface transport at TfL, said: “We recognise the influence that travel choices have on how healthy people can be in London. If we do things differently, such as helping to reduce car use by providing nicer places to walk, live and work, we can help deliver amazing health benefits to Londoners."
Our new Walking Tube map is designed to help people who want to get more active and try making more of their journey round on foot.
And it's not just during Tube strike days when Londoners might want to walk. A recent TfL study found that Londoners make 3.6m daily journeys by car, motorcycle, taxi and public transport that could be, at least in part, walked.
