These are the most sought-after cities for British stag and hen parties
Wedding season is nearly upon us, and brides and grooms to be are likely to be snowed under with planning the most important event of their lives – the bachelor party.
London is the most sought-after destination for British soon-to-be-weds, according to new research, but with bachelor and hen parties becoming ever more expensive, aspiring husbands and wives may struggle to have their ideal last night of freedom.
A new study from Laterooms.com has unearthed the most coveted cities for Brits celebrating their last night of freedom. London tops the charts, with both men and women opting to hold their stag and hen dos in the capital.

Blackpool is the next best place to have a stag party, while bachelorettes would rather go out in Manchester, according to the hotel booking firm.
The study also found that it's getting harder to hold the perfect bachelor party. As Brits find increasingly elaborate ways to celebrate their last days of singlehood before tying the knot, the cost of the average stag or hen do has soared to over £300.
Of course, this is all small change for London's high-flying businessmen. Earlier this year we reached out to nightclub grandee Peter Stringfellow on the subject of stag dos, who told us one worker managed to rack up a £10,000 bill after spending the night at Stringfellows' club in Angel.
