The two most desired (but hard to find) skills in finance job candidates, according to recruiters
It's time to brush up on two particular skills that could land you that dream job – and they might surprise you.
Forget entrepreneurship, learning to code, or even your work experience, it's your ability to communicate and think strategically which recruiters desire the most, but say are also the hardest to find.
These are the surprising findings from an analysis of more than 1,000 recruiters at over 500 companies by Bloomberg, identifying the skills they want but just can't find.
Candidates with motivation and drive, analytical thinking skills and the ability to work collaboratively are also highly desired, but these traits are more common.
Meanwhile, entrepreneurship is the most common and least desired of all skills, as was decision-making abilities, relative to other skills.

So, when it comes to brushing up your CV, or identifying some training, those two skills that hit the sweet spot with the recruiters are the ones to keep in mind.
