the INSIDER
Henry Cecil had a winner on Wednesday, but his Bullet Train ran terribly in the Derby. He may come back today and run a blinder but I can’t put my money on him until he proves it was a one off. Green Moon has proved that he is a good horse in the making with wins at Newbury and Newmarket, but I have a sneaking suspicion that another two furlongs will see MONTEROSSO (5%) gain compensation for his Newbury defeat in the King Edward VII Stakes.
I’m really looking forward to seeing Jacqueline Quest, the disqualified Guineas winner, run in the Coronation Stakes. She ran in a Newbury listed race last year and had subsequent Oaks winner Snow Fairy behind her that day. However, I will be backing ANNA SALAI (5%) to give Godolphin another winner.
In the Wolferton Handicap the money is likely to be down for RAINBOW PEAK (5%). Peter Savill loves a winner at this meeting and I think this son of Hernando should have
what it takes to win this competitive event. My money will be on CHINK OF LIGHT
(3% e/w) to beat CORSICA (2% Reverse Exacta) in the Queen’s Vase. BANGALORE GOLD (2%) would be a saver in the Buckingham Palace Stakes. It might also be worth checking out the prices for the top jockey on oddschecker.com and have a little bet on FRANKIE DETTORI (2%).
