Taarabt is still in my QPR plans, says Redknapp
QPR boss Harry Redknapp insists Adel Taarabt holds a Loftus Road future despite this week engaging in a public spat with the Moroccan play-maker.
Redknapp described Taarabt as “the worst professional I have ever come across” while Taarabt retaliated by criticising the training methods employed by the former Tottenham manager.
And while be is unlikely to feature in QPR’s vital Premier League clash with Aston Villa tonight, Redknapp is adamant Taarabt could feature in the first-team picure again.
“He is a fantastic talent and I need him playing,” said Redknapp. “I would love him to be fit. No-one will be more pleased if he gets himself fit and back in the team.
“The only person that can help Adel is himself. I like him as a boy. I have a good relationship with him.”
