THIS SUMMER’S GAMING ON THE GO
The Journey Down
This port of the classic game will bring the point and click adventure to iOS and Android devices. Judging by the trailer, the graphics are lush and the humour is as deadpan as ever.
N.O.V.A. 3
It is testament to how far portable devices have come that they can run a multi-player, Halo-like first person shooter with graphics this sharp. If you crave explosions on the go, N.O.V.A. 3 looks like a winner. Out soon on the iPad.
Tiny Thief
This point-and-click/platformer hybrid is a reminder of why indie games have made such a comeback in recent years. It has stunning, cartoony visuals and the puzzles look fiendishly tough. Expect it on the App Store this summer.
Creatures 4
Anyone who played the classic artificial life franchise will be itching to get this on their iPhone. Think Tamagotchi meets science, with your pet creatures each possessing their own unique DNA and the ability to learn from their mistakes.
