Sky Sports: Premier League games could be presented by celebrities such as Holly Willoughby or James Corden on Friday nights
Celebrities such as James Corden and Holly Willoughby are being considered as potential presenters for Sky Sports' Friday night Premier League games next season.
The broadcaster is currently discussing how to differentiate the live Friday night games it will show next season from the rest of its output.
One idea is a more relaxed, entertainment show in the mould of Channel 4's TFI Friday to contrast with the in-depth analysis now associated with its Monday Night Football offering.
Celebrity presenters such as Corden, who presents Sky's sports quiz show A League of Their Own, would be one way of developing such a niche – although talks are still ongoing and no formal approaches have been made.

Another mooted alternative could be to move the live audience format currently used for Saturday evening games to Friday nights.
Sky has the rights to 12 live Friday night games next season as part of the £4.2bn three-year deal it secured last year.
Saturday evening games will move to BT Sport while Saturday morning, Sunday afternoon and Monday evening games will all be shown on Sky.
