The sky’s the limit for Walkie Talkie diners
CITY-workers looking for a pick me up to soothe the January blues can now take that phrase literally and look to the top of London’s curviest new skyscraper, the Walkie Talkie. The block on Fenchurch street will today fling open the doors to its much-anticipated sky garden, a public green space on the roof of the tower offering stunning views of the capital. Boasting restaurants, bars and event space, as well as a public park (although don’t try walking your dog there), the garden is open to all as long as you book in advance. But be warned, those keen to sneak a quiet moment in the green space with a book may have to plan ahead.
