Signal failure causes delays on the District Line
The District Line is running with minor delays this morning between Earl's Court and Ealing Broadway to Richmond owing to a signal failure.
Transport for London (TfL) said tickets will be valid on London buses, Great Western Railway and C2C, the operator of the Essex Thameside railway franchise.
The transport body urged passengers to find alternative routes and warned that some stations and platforms would be particularly busy.

The District Line disruption has hit commuters on the same day as the start of a three-day strike by train drivers on the Piccadilly Line.
Talks between the RMT rail union and TfL broke down yesterday, meaning the Piccadilly Line will grind to a halt at around 1pm today and will only ben running in phases until Saturday.
