SGS ups dividend as profits rise
SGS, the world’s largest inspection services company, raised its dividend and said it saw stronger top-line growth this year after demand for its services picked up in 2010. Full-year net profit at SGS rose 8.4 per cent to 588m Swiss francs (£382.7m) and revenue increased 4.1 per cent on a constant currency basis to 4.8bn francs, said the group.
