Seven games: Pardew’s ban
NEWCASTLE boss Alan Pardew has been banned from the touchline until the final three games of the season after the Football Association deemed his headbutt on Hull’s David Meyler worthy of a seven-match suspension.
Pardew is prohibited from even attending the stadium for Saturday’s trip to Fulham and the following home games against Crystal Palace and Everton. He will then have to sit in the stands for fixtures against Southampton, Manchester United, Stoke and Swansea.
The former West Ham and Charlton manager, who said he would not appeal the sanctions, was also fined £60,000 by the FA. He was fined £100,000 by Newcastle earlier this month following the clash with Meyler during the game on 1 March.
