Saracens and Ulster to clash in the City at iconic Square Mile venue the Honourable Artillery Company on eve of new Premiership season
Saracens will return to the City in September for a pre-season match against Ulster.
The teams will clash on the lawns of the Honourable Artillery Company (HAC) on Thursday 9 September, six days after they meet in Belfast.
The fixture comes a week before Saracens resume life in the Premiership, having been promoted back to the top flight of English rugby union in June.
“We are very much looking forward to testing ourselves in a double header against Ulster,” said Saracens director of rugby Mark McCall.
“They are a top side who will provide us with excellent preparation for the upcoming season.
“Also, to be returning to the HAC is very exciting as it is always one of our favourite nights in the calendar so we hope to see many of our supporters on the touchline once again.”
Tickets are available for the game via the club, each with different levels of hospitality.
Saracens have played a number of exhibition fixtures at the HAC and have long-standing links to the Square Mile.
Their main sponsor is Stone X, which has naming rights for their stadium. City Index, its subsidiary, appears on their shirts.
Saracens owner Nigel Wray, meanwhile, is a City grandee and business leader.
Saracens player Jackson Wray told City A.M. earlier this year that he used his spare time during lockdown to learn more about trading.
