Robson: Quins can win without Six Nations stars
HARLEQUINS will be without their England stars tomorrow, but lock George Robson insists his side will not be lacking in stardust for their derby trip to Wembley.
Quins director of rugby Conor O’Shea has opted to rest Red Rose quartet Mike Brown, Danny Care, Joe Marler and captain Chris Robshaw for the Saracens clash in front of 80,000. But Robson is confident the club’s youngsters can earn a win to help their play-off aspirations.
“It is great to be an older leader within the squad but you look at the young guys coming through, they are very switched on and full of confidence,” Robson said.
“That is the great thing about the environment here – we have got some great young talents. We have got six games left and it is all about making sure we are winning as many of those games as possible.”
London Irish are also planning for a bumper crowd tomorrow against Bath Rugby and London Wasps travel to bottom side Worcester Warriors tonight.
