Reds ready for top-four push
LIVERPOOL boss Brendan Rodgers expects the race to finish in the Premier League’s top four to go to the wire as his team aim to boost their prospects tonight at former club Swansea.
The Reds have revived their hopes after a poor start to the season by taking 30 points from a possible 36 to climb to fifth, and can move to within two of the Champions League spots with a win in Wales.
“I think it’s going to be very tight, of course,” said Rodgers. “We’ve rejoined the race in the last three months and everything counts in the games. We just need to continue to be aggressive and give everything that we have between now and the end of the season.”
