Real Madrid and Adidas set to agree huge £100m sponsorship that trumps Manchester United’s record deal
Adidas and Real Madrid are close to agreeing a huge kit manufacturing deal that would trump the German sportswear brand's record £75m deal with Manchester United.
According to reports from Madrid paper Marca, Real will receive €140m (£107m) a season from Adidas in a 10-year extension of their current partnership.
The deal will once again make Real Madrid's kit the most valuable in the world – a title lost to Manchester United last season when Adidas replaced Nike as their kit sponsor.

Adidas, who have designed and produced Los Blancos' shirt since 1998, are behind six of the 10 largest football kit deals in the world with Chelsea, AC Milan, Bayern Munich and Juventus all sporting the three stripes on their shirts.
Last summer, Bayern Munich signed a 15-year deal with Adidas worth £61m a year – which will actually be worth more than Manchester United's deal should Louis van Gaal's side fail to reach the Champions League, after the brand negotiated a clause which will save it £20m a year in such an event.
