Monzo, Skyscanner and the BBC are the most desirable companies to work for among UK tech talent, according to a survey published today.
The survey, compiled by recruitment firm Hired, revealed fintech firms remain among the most attractive employers for techies, with Transferwise, Starling Bank and Revolut all making it into the top 10.

Car manufacturer McLaren and Google-owned AI firm Deepmind also scored highly, alongside Deliveroo and Sky.
However, the survey showed that despite the UK’s booming tech sector, the global ranking of popular tech firms remains dominated by US companies.
All of the top 15 global employers for tech workers were US based, with Google, Netflix and Amazon taking the top spots.

“Hired’s latest report intends to showcase the brands that are doing it right and also provide advice to businesses that are looking for inspiration on how to inspire the world’s best tech talent into wanting to work with them.”
The report also revealed that tech employees now value company culture as highly as compensation, while 65 per cent said they would be open to working remotely all the time.
