Mipim 2015: Tristan Capital property bigwigs go all Moulin Rouge at raucous beach party
The music was blaring so loudly that even the sand seemed to be quivering at Tristan Capital’s raucous party on the beach in Cannes. The secretive property firm holds a less than secretive bash each year, its tickets highly coveted – and this year’s theme was Moulin Rouge in keeping with the French setting.
It wouldn’t be Moulin Rouge without a bit of dressing up, with guests given red feather bowers, black carnival masks and glow-in-the-dark face paint.
Nick Deacon of TIAA Henderson – which has just been given the green light for its £400m office scheme dubbed Gotham City for its design at 40 Leadenhall Street – was there chatting to Daniel Berger of Australian Super, the new kids on the block in London who bought a 25 per cent stake in the sprawling King’s Cross scheme last week.
Perhaps Deacon could suggest a Batman theme next year.
