Politicians have ignored the City for too long – it’s time to make your voice heard
THE City is the engine room of the British economy, but you wouldn’t know it from the policies of the main political parties. Few politicians are interested in reflecting or listening to the concerns of the hundreds of thousands of people who work in London’s business and financial sectors. With an election just weeks away, the voice of the City – and the voice of those who read this newspaper – needs to be heard.
That’s why City A.M. has teamed up with leading politics website PoliticsHome.com to recruit a panel that represents London’s business community. Each day, we will send a short BlackBerry-friendly email with five quick questions to members of this panel, and publish the results as a poll in the paper.
Signing up is easy: simply go to www.cityam.com/panel and answer a few short questions. All of the data provided is completely confidential and will not be shared with any other party. PoliticsHome.com will provide the top line results of the polls to City A.M. without disclosing the views or details of any individual respondent.
