Plus500 promotes Elad Even-Chen to group chief financial officer as non-exec Paul Boyle steps down
Plus500 has promoted Elad Even-Chen to the role group chief financial officer.
Even-Chen is currently finance director and vice president of business development for the Aim-listed firm, where he has worked for the last four years. Prior to joining he was at KPMG, where he specialised in commerce and real estate audit.
The promotion takes place from today, and Even-Chen will join the board in due course.
The spread betting firm, which last year suffered heavy outflows and share price declines after freezing scores of customer accounts, has also announced the departure of non-executive director Paul Boyle.
Boyle will stand down at the group's AGM on 10 May "to concentrate on his existing full time executive role at Aviva".
Plus500 is now looking for a replacement.
Plus500 chairman Alastair Gordon said: "The board is grateful to Mr. Boyle for his service during a period which has seen significant regulatory challenges, but also strong process on operational business front. His contribution has been of huge value to the business and we wish him every success in the future.
"At the same time we are pleased to recognise Mr Even-Chen's contribution to the business and the important role he plays representing the company to shareholders and the financial markets."
Plus500 will announce a trading update on 18 April.
