Pantone owner Danaher buys Nobel
US HEALTHCARE group Danaher, which owns the colour matching service Pantone, is to buy Nobel Biocare for an agreed $2.2bn (£1.35bn) to become the world’s biggest player in a dental implants market benefiting from growing demand for cosmetic dentistry. Danaher said yesterday it would pay SFr17.10 per Nobel Biocare share in cash, about 23 per cent above Nobel Biocare’s closing price on 28 July.
