One (quite) careful owner: Rare Ferrari Dallara F1 car to be auctioned at Catawiki
ANY boy or girl racer with about £300.000 to spare should connect with online auction house Catawiki, which is putting under the hammer a Ferrari Dallara F192 that competed in Formula 1 in 1992.
The F192 car, produced by Dallara, was raced by the BMS Scuderia Italia team during the 1992 season, finishing in sixth place and driven by racing legends Pierluigi Martini and JJ Lehto. The car, in classic Ferrari red, has a Ferrari 12-cylinder engine, comes with 700-horse power and is in perfect condition.
Sander Houdel, Catawiki’s classic cars auctioneer, said: “This auction offers classic car collectors from around the globe a chance to own a stunning Dallara Ferrari – we’re expecting a huge amount of interest and are confident that it will easily reach its £300,000 estimation.”
The auction will run until 29 April.
