Nigel Farage, Nicola Sturgeon, Leanne Wood to appear in BBC election specials after Ed Miliband, David Cameron, and Nick Clegg get Question Time slots
Nigel Farage is to be served up to a regional audiences as part of a several BBC specials ahead of the General Election.
Farage will appear in a programme in England on 30 April, the same day Nicola Sturgeon, the leader of the Scottish National Party (SNP) and Plaid Cymru’s Leanne Wood will appear in different version of the programme in Wales and Scotland.The Ukip leader is often great value for money on air, and yesterday hit the headlines for claiming a higher minimum wage would attract too many migrants to the UK.
David Cameron, Ed Miliband, and Nick Clegg will all appear on a special version of BBC Question Time, although not together.
The programme will give each of the three leaders a 30minute slot, with the first starting at 8pm and the last finishing at 9.30pm. The programme featuring Farage, Sturgeon and Wood will be aired later the same evening.
