New Plusnet Mobile service will expand the company’s portfolio as a quad-play provider
Plusnet announced today the launch of the UK’s newest mobile provider: Plusnet Mobile.
The new mobile service from the Sheffield-based telephone, TV and broadband provider is the result of parent company BT Group’s acquisition of mobile network LIFE Mobile, part of the EE business.
The new service will build on Plusnet’s award-winning portfolio and is set to be available from 29 November. Plusnet Mobile will absorb existing LIFE Mobile customers on the same date.
Plusnet CEO Andy Baker said: “True to our Yorkshire roots, Plusnet has always prided itself on offering customers more for less, and extending our offering to include a mobile service is a natural next step as we move to become a full-service quad-play provider.”
Plusnet Mobile will offer four tariffs on SIM only, rolling 30-day contracts, ranging from £5 to £15.
