New boss in the hot seat at print firm Xaar
BRITISH printing technology firm Xaar has appointed Dr Doug Edwards as its new chief executive, replacing Ian Dinwoodie who is set to retire this year.
Edwards was previously president of digital printing and enterprise at Kodak. He takes up his new role and joins the Xaar board with immediate effect. Shares in the company went up by 3.88 per cent after the announcement.
Dinwoodie, whose departure was announced in March last year, has served as chief executive of the Cambridge-based firm since 2013.
Edwards said: “It is a privilege to be asked to lead Xaar through this next phase of the company’s development.”
