There's a big row going on between farmers and supermarkets over the price of milk.
Farmers say they are suffering because the rival grocery stores such as Tesco, Sainsbury's and Morrisons are battling each other on costs, which has caused milk prices to fall leaving them increasingly out of pocket.
The supermarkets' on the other hand, say they are not responsible for how much the farmers are paid because they buy from the milk processors, who purchase the stuff straight from the farmers.
Half of the British milk-drinking public would be prepared to pay more for milk, however, as much as £1.28 per four pints, versus the average cost now of between 89p and £1, according to Mintel.
Now, the supermarkets and processors could be squeezed out all-together, with the rise of a service which connects people directly with farmers.
