James Biagioni crowned City’s most eligible bachelor by Social Concierge and Square Mile mag
The search is finally over, girls. There’s no longer any need to rock up to The Folly on a Thursday night without a clue who you’re going to hit on. The City’s most eligible bachelor has been revealed as James Biagioni, a 27-year-old commodities futures trader who works in Tower 42.
“It still hasn’t sunk in. A group of six guys at work all read about the competition and decided to put me in for it,” he told The Capitalist.
Biagioni was announced as the winner of the competition, run by Social Concierge and Square Mile mag, at a party in The South Place Hotel on Friday.
“I found out I’d won and had to run home and get changed because I was wearing casual clothes,” he told us.
Aside from a massive ego boost, Biagioni has won a year’s Platinum membership to Social Concierge so he won’t want for good dates. But why did he win? “It was a combination of his good looks and a fresh approach to women – he said he was looking for someone with good banter and great curves, rather than the usual answer of beautiful, skinny girls,” Social Concierge founder Nana Wereko-Brobby told us. Ah, bless.
Correction: This article has been updated to correct the following error: the City’s most eligible bachelor is James Biagioni not James Baglioni.
