Manufacturer McBride reveals savings of £12m in UK business
BRITISH private label products maker McBride stated yesterday that it is on track to deliver savings of £12m by the end of June 2016 in its UK business, as a result of a continuing restructuring project.
In a trading update, the firm said it had benefited from continued strong growth in Germany in the six months to 31 December, although this was offset by weaker trading elsewhere in Europe.
McBride said the half-year performance was in line with the board’s expectations, as is the expected period-end debt of £90m.
