Mancini: This month will define season
MANCHESTER City manager Roberto Mancini has warned his team to regroup for a run of games that could define their season.
City slipped to a shock defeat to Hull on Saturday but are looking to bounce back against Bolton tonight and reignite their charge for a Champions League place.
“We played very hard and we must continue like the second half,” said the Italian of the Hull game.
“If we continue in this way we can improve but we must recover all of our players now, this is most important.
“February, this month, is a crucial moment with games against Bolton, Stoke, Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham.”
Mancini has been hit by a raft of injuries, particularly in defence, with Vincent Kompany, Wayne Bridge and Micah Richards all affected, while Kolo Toure has been at the Africa Cup of Nations.
City will jump two places to fourth if they beat Bolton by four goals.
