London travel disruption: Delays and cancellations on trains in and out of Paddington due to person hit by train
Travellers journeying through Paddington could be affected by severe disruptions at the station this afternoon, after a person was hit by a train this morning between Ealing Broadway and Southall.
National Rail said the line between the stations is blocked while emergency services deal with the incident.
Some services will be cancelled, while others are delayed, and trains between Paddington and Greenford are suspended.
"As a result of this, journeys to and from London Paddington will be delayed by up to 60 minutes, with some services cancelled," the rail operator said.
"There is currently no estimate as to when the line will reopen, however when it does, trains will continue to be disrupted until approximately 14:00, due to trains and train crew being out of position."
