London office rents Tube map: Here’s how much desk space costs across the capital in one simple map
In the ever wonderful world of things you can map across the routes of the London Underground (other than stations) comes the price of renting a desk across zone 1 in the capital.
It’s the newest of all lines, the Jubilee, where office rents cost the most, coming in at £793 for the average office desk each month, according to office broker FlexiOffices.
The Piccadilly line isn’t far behind , with an average £788, though Green Park, where the two converge along with the Victoria line, is the priciest stop at £1,000.
But if you’re thinking of setting up a business it’s the Northern line which will get you more bang for your buck, with the average cost coming in at £667. Bargain locations such as Elephant and Castle (£400) and Old Street (£500) show there are still affordable options in the capital, said FlexiOffice.
Edgware road and Tower Hill are also good spots for bargains at £400 – in fact, they’re the cheapest in central London.
