London Liverpool Street Station in chaos as TfL rail and Greater Anglia services are suspended after a man was hit by a train near Bow
Train services from London's Liverpool Street station were cancelled this evening, after a man was hit by a train near Bow.
Thousands of passengers were left stranded, unable to return home, when TfL rail and all Greater Anglia services were cancelled while the emergency services were at work.
Two of the four lines have reopened now, with Greater Anglia trains from Liverpool Street to Southend, Colchester, Clacton, Ipswich and Norwich running, but facing significant delays. Greater Anglia tickets to Norwich will be accepted on Great Northern services to Cambridge instead.
Liverpool Street Station expects the disruption to last until eight o'clock this evening, and most services face delays up to an hour.

There is limited access to the station from the entrance on Liverpool Street. The underground station is closed, and there is no access from Bishopsgate.

The line between Bethnal Green and Stratford was closed while paramedics attend the scene.
Transport for London rail services between Liverpool Street and Shenfield, via Stratford, have severe delays too. London Underground and buses will accept tickets instead "via reasonable routes".
