Lancaster set to keep faith with winning team for Ireland clash
ENGLAND rugby coach Stuart Lancaster has hinted that he intends to name an unchanged team for this month’s next Six Nations fixture against Ireland.
Lancaster last night retained only the starting XV from Saturday’s 20-0 win in Scotland for further training, releasing the remaining 18 players from the squad to play for their clubs in the Premiership at the weekend. England lie third in the table, having slipped to a heartbreaking late defeat in their opener in France, but saw the same line-up outclass Scotland at a boggy Murrayfield seven days later.
Ireland will travel to Twickenham for the clash on Saturday week hoping to stay on course for the grand slam, having already beaten Scotland and defending champions Wales.
