Women of the Future awards: KPMG partner Claire Angell takes prize
Pioneering female business stars gathered at the Hilton, Park Lane last night for the annual Women of the Future awards, joining secretary for education Nikki Morgan and Dragons’ Den star Kelly Hoppen.
There were many City and London names in the running, but Claire Angell, director at KPMG took the professional award, as one of the only female senior tax advisers in the oil and gas sector.
Hannah McNamara, partner at Cushman & Wakefield took the real estate, infrastructure and construction gong – having worked her way up from graduate to partner at the firm.
Hoppen said: “It’s hard to find time to come to these events but I’m always glad when I do, it’s been inspirational.”
