Kitchener to lead England
UNCAPPED lock Graham Kitchener has been selected to captain an England XV against Barbarians at Twickenham on Sunday.
The inexperienced team, to be coached by Joe Lydon, includes three full internationals in centre Jonathan Joseph, winger Charlie Sharples, scrum-half Joe Simpson.
Lydon said: “This England XV is full of talent and will make for an entertaining match against a strong Barbarians side with over 700 caps between them.”
Worcester director of rugby Dean Ryan is set to coach Barbarians, who have included London Irish’s utility player James O’Connor in their 24-man squad.
England have named a sererate 30-man squad to play three Tests against the All Blacks and jetted out to New Zealand on Tuesday.
