Kiss And Say Goodbye: Former Malaysian PM records soul ballad while awaiting 1MDB trial

The MP, who is currently campaigning in a by-election, was joined by around a dozen others, swaying from side to side, not quite in time to the music.
Before the video begins Najib said: “This is the saddest day of my life. Since May 9, 2018, I was ousted. All this while, I have been fighting for the people who I really love,” the Straits Times reported.
It is not the first time that Najib has trolled the sitting Prime Minister since his Barisan Nasional party lost power for the first time in over six decades.
Last week he posted a picture of himself on a Yamaha motorbike to Facebook with the caption “What’s to be ashamed about, my boss?” according to the Straits Times.
Najib faces a litany of charges over the so-called 1MDB scandal which has engulfed Malaysian politics and business for several years.

The former PM helped set up the 1MDB fund in 2009 which the US Justice Department estimates was used to misappropriate $4.5bn (£3.4bn) until 2014.
Najib denies the dozens of charges which have been levelled against him.
