Kcom posts jump in profits
Telecoms provider Kcom Group’s full-year pre-tax profit rose 55 per cent, helped by an increase in sales at its KC business and a reduction in operating costs. Kcom, which provides communications services for enterprise and public sector organisations across the UK said pre-tax profit for the year ended 31 March rose to £51.1m from £32.9m. Revenue fell two per cent to £387.3m, reflecting a 2.7 per cent decline in the company’s Kcom segment. Kcom increased the full-year dividend to 4p from last year’s 3.6p.
