Jeremy Tigue to retire
F&C INVESTMENT TRUST HEAD TO STAND DOWN
FUNDS veteran Jeremy Tigue is retiring from F&C Fund Management after an impressive 33 years service at the company
Tigue has run the £2.6bn Foreign & Colonial Investment Trust for 17 years but that’s just a fraction of its lifespan. The fund originally launched way back in 1868. He replaced Michael Hart in 1997.
Tigue will leave F&C’s Primrose Street offices once and for all on 1 July. F&C’s Paul Niven steps into the hot seat.
Tigue is a well trusted investment adviser to two of the country’s biggest pension schemes, BP and British Steel.
Tigue has an MA from the University of Oxford. He sits on the board of Graphite Enterprise.
